What is a Mother Blessing?
A Mother Blessing is a heartfelt ceremony designed to honour and support the expectant mother as she journeys into motherhood. It's a beautiful opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together and shower the mama -to-be with love, blessings, and positive energy.
How does it differ from a Baby Shower?
While baby showers typically focus on gifts for the baby, a Mother Blessing centers entirely on the mother. It's a deeply personal and spiritual gathering that celebrates the expectant mother's journey, offering blessings, encouragement, and support as she prepares for childbirth and motherhood.
Whats included in a Mother Blessing hosted by Diana and Emma?
Our Mother Blessing ceremonies are thoughtfully crafted to create a nurturing and uplifting environment for the pregnant mama and her guests. Here's what you can look forward to:
A traditional flower crown for the pregnant mother, symbolizing beauty, strength, and fertility.
A red thread ceremony, where we connect all the guests with a red cord bracelet symbolising the web of support that is being created for the mama.
A nurturing sound healing and guided meditation session that focuses on support and connection
A beautifully decorated boho-inspired space, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Engaging craft activities, such as necklace or bracelet making, and a wish jar.
Each attendee receives a candle to take home, that will be lit when the mama goes into labour.
Space created for light refreshments and herbal teas
How long is a Mother Blessing?
The entire experience lasts 2- 2.5 hours, allowing ample time for meaningful connections and heartfelt blessings.
How much does it cost, and how many guests are required?
Our Mother Blessing experience is priced at $40 per person, (The pregnant mama is free of charge) with a minimum of 8 guests required to book the ceremony. Maximum number of guests is 14. This ensures an intimate and personalised gathering that honours the expectant mother in a meaningful way.
What about Food?
Herbal teas are included in the package, we encourage each guest to bring a share plate.
